What does Dior Addict smell like?
Launched by Dior in 2002, Dior Addict was aimed at a bolder woman, an oriental floral designed for night. The opening is unusual: bitter green mandarin leaf, a mulberry-silk accord with faintly fruity glints, and an orange blossom that is already enveloping. The heart holds the scent's signature, the queen of the night, a cactus flower that only blooms after dark, framed by rose and jasmine; the effect is heady, creamy and almost milky. The base of vanilla, sandalwood and tonka blooms into a soft ambered warmth that clings to skin for hours. The whole thing feels like crumpled satin at dawn.
