What does Code Absolu Femme smell like?
Code Femme became an Absolu eau de parfum in 2019. The house did not name a perfumer for this flanker. Warmth arrives in the first minute. Ginger stings while neroli and mandarin brighten things without really cooling them down. The heart is a dense white bouquet of orange blossom and jasmine. Tuberose soon does most of the talking. It has that buttery and slightly narcotic side you either love or avoid. The base slides into tonka bean and vanilla. Sandalwood adds a creamy roundness that keeps the flowers on skin for hours. Next to Carolina Herrera's Good Girl, another vanilla tuberose, Code Absolu Femme feels brighter because it skips the cocoa. It still ends up very sweet. Anyone who found the original Code Femme too sheer will be happy here.
When to wear it
An evening scent that needs restraint at the office. Two sprays on the neck and wrists last through a long night out.
