What does The One for Men smell like?
Composed by Olivier Polge and launched in 2008, The One for Men embodies a classic masculine seduction in the manner of post-war Italian cinema. The opening pairs grapefruit, coriander and basil for a fresh, aromatic start. The heart grows warmer: ginger, cardamom and orange blossom form a spiced, lightly floral accord. The cedar, labdanum and amber base adds a resinous warmth with a faint tobacco feel, giving the scent the air of a tailored suit. The result is soft, refined and restrained: it is discovered up close rather than imposed. It is one of the easiest masculine orientals to wear, ideal for warmth without heaviness.
