Cedrat Boisé, launched by Mancera in 2011, became one of the house’s best-known scents thanks to its durable freshness. The opening is juicy and tart: lemon, blackcurrant and bergamot form a lively, almost fizzy accord. The heart pairs woody patchouli with a discreet jasmine, adding some depth to the fruit. The base is more surprising for a citrus: cedar, leather, sandalwood, vanilla and musk make a warm, slightly smoky foundation that holds the freshness far longer than a classic cologne. The result is bracing yet enveloping, easy to wear through the warm months.
