Our take
What does Ptisenbon smell like?
Ptisenbon was born in 1988 at Tartine et Chocolat, the French children's clothing label. The eau de toilette was developed with Givenchy and composed by Michèle Saramito. The name is a childish spelling of smells nice, and many adults wear it too. It opens on citrus. Citron and orange bring freshness, and galbanum adds a slightly bitter green note. White flowers fill the heart. Honeysuckle leads, with lily of the valley and jasmine alongside, never heady. The base is a surprise for a children's scent. You get oakmoss, rosewood and a tender musk that smells like linen from the cupboard. Compared with Diorissimo, another lily of the valley classic, Ptisenbon is lighter and more soapy. It has the structure of a proper classic perfume, only scaled down for small noses.
When to wear it
A summer eau de toilette for kids and for adults who like clean scents. Spray freely, since it fades fast.
It belongs to the Floral, Green family. Ptisenbon is one of 1 creations by Tartine et Chocolat in our encyclopedia.
