What does Carnal Flower smell like?
Composed by Dominique Ropion and released in 2005 by Frédéric Malle, Carnal Flower is widely regarded as a benchmark tuberose in contemporary perfumery. Its aim is to render the whole flower, from green stem to fleshy heart. The opening surprises with its freshness: bergamot, juicy melon and camphoraceous eucalyptus suggest sap and crushed leaves. The heart unfolds tuberose in full, backed by ylang-ylang and jasmine, creamy, faintly minty and almost alive. The base of tuberose absolute, coconut and musk carries the flower on with a milky, sunny, sensual warmth. It is a generous yet luminous white flower that never feels heavy.

Warm weather, evenings or special occasions; it enchants lovers of tuberose and powerful white flowers of any gender.
