Our take
What does Eau de Cashmere smell like?
Eau de Cashmere belongs to a series of musky eaux that Guerlain introduced in 2026, alongside Eau de Coton and Eau de Tulle. Delphine Jelk composed it. Her starting point was simple. If this scent were a fabric, it would be a cashmere shawl. Pink pepper, mandarin and bergamot open with a short, fizzy flash. The heart is more interesting. Iris brings soft powder, lavender a clean aromatic touch, and petitgrain a green freshness. Then white musk takes over completely. Vanilla warms it slightly while vetiver and cedar stop it from going limp. Donna Karan's Cashmere Mist plays on the same textile idea, but Eau de Cashmere is more aromatic thanks to the lavender. This is a skin scent that stays close. It suits people who want to smell nice without being noticed.
When to wear it
An everyday musk that works from the office to the weekend. Four sprays aren't too many, since projection stays low.
It belongs to the Floral, Musky family. Eau de Cashmere is one of 89 creations by Guerlain in our encyclopedia.
