What does Ultra Male smell like?
Ultra Male joined Jean Paul Gaultier’s Le Male family in 2015, in the same torso bottle, this time dressed in black. The idea was to push the sensuality of the oriental fougère further. The opening is gourmand, with juicy, sugary pear, backed by bergamot and a darker, more aromatic black lavender. Cinnamon warms the heart, joined by herbal sage and a hint of cumin that adds a skin-like heat. The base of vanilla, amber and musk is dense, sweet and enveloping, with impressive projection. It is a night-time scent, built to be noticed from across the room, and it owns its sweetness completely.
When to wear it
For autumn and winter evenings and dates, with restraint. It suits men who like sweet, powerful scents without apology.
