What does Pegasus smell like?
Pegasus, named after the winged horse of Greek myth, was composed by Hamid Merati-Kashani. It rests on an accord reminiscent of almond cake served in a hushed drawing room. The opening pairs powdery, faintly almondy heliotrope with bergamot, a whisper of cumin and pink pepper for bite. The heart puts almond in front (soft, almost marzipan) carried by an aromatic lavender that recalls the fougère structure and a jasmine that adds flesh. The base is rich and creamy: vanilla, sandalwood, amber, musk and cedar create an enveloping finish dominated by milky wood. It is comfortable and refined, its sweetness more powdery than sugary.
When to wear it
For autumn and winter, on a date or an evening out; it suits lovers of soft, creamy, elegant scents.
