Our take
What does Glam Jasmine smell like?
Glam Jasmine arrived in 2013, when Michael Kors was spinning its signature scent into several floral variations. The idea fits in one word. Jasmine, with no complications. The blackcurrant opening is tart and a little green, like a crushed bud that wakes the nose. Jasmine shows up quickly. A cluster of white flowers backs it, making it rounder and brighter rather than animalic. There's no heavy indole and no night-time side, so it never feels like a bedroom scent. The base lays down creamy sandalwood and soft musk that stretch the flower out on skin without drowning it. Next to Mugler's Alien, another famous jasmine but ambery and massive, Glam Jasmine stays lighter and fruitier. Jasmine lovers may find it short on character. If you just want an easy white floral, it does the job honestly.
When to wear it
A summer floral for daytime and sunny weekends. Go with three sprays, since the trail fades after two hours.
It belongs to the Floral family. Glam Jasmine is one of 3 creations by Michael Kors in our encyclopedia.
