What does 1 Million Elixir smell like?
Paco Rabanne launched 1 Million Elixir in 2022 as a parfum intense. Christophe Raynaud, who co-signed the 2008 original, composed it with Quentin Bisch. It opens with apple and davana. That Indian herb smells of ripe fruit and liquor, so the start recalls a flambéed apple. The heart is a surprise for a men's scent of this kind. Few sweet masculine blockbusters dare this much rose. Damask rose and osmanthus bring a real floral note over dry cedar. The base is what you expect from an elixir. Vanilla absolute and tonka make it very sweet, held together by dark patchouli. Compared with the original 1 Million, spicier and more leathery, Elixir is fruitier and more floral. It projects hard and lasts all day. On some skins the sugar ends up winning.
When to wear it
Keep it for cold evenings, because it flattens everything in summer. One spray on the neck is plenty.
