What does Eragon smell like?
Eragon, presented in 2025 as an extrait de parfum, extends Parfums de Marly’s taste for woody oriental compositions. Cardamom opens with spicy freshness, supported by mandarin and bergamot. The heart is more unusual: warm cinnamon blends with cypriol, an earthy, smoky wood, and davana, whose fruity, almost liqueur-like quality recalls dried apricot or a sweet spirit. Vanilla, tonka bean, leather and patchouli in the base build a dense, velvety, slightly animalic warmth. The extrait concentration gives it lasting presence and great richness. The davana gives the heart a heady, dried-fruit glow that stops the vanilla from reading as merely sweet.
When to wear it
For cold evenings and special occasions; it appeals to lovers of intense woody orientals of any gender.
