What does Eau Soleil smell like?
Biotherm, a skincare brand known for its scented body waters, launched Eau Soleil in early 2016. The 100 ml bottle is meant for the body, and the brand presented it as safe to wear in the sun. That tells you the goal. Comfort matters more than trail here. Lemon, orange and blackcurrant open it. The blackcurrant adds a tart lift that wakes up the citrus. Fig follows with its milky sap. Then tiare brings a creamy note that hints at monoi without the weight. The base is very light, a little musk and a little sandalwood. Compared with Eau d’Énergie, the floral mist from the same range, Eau Soleil is fruitier and more summery. The downside is well known, since it rarely lasts beyond two hours. It now seems to be off the market.
When to wear it
After a shower or a swim in summer, all over the body. Spray freely, that is what it is for.
