Our take
What does Miami Blossom smell like?
Every summer Escada puts out a fruity limited edition. Miami Blossom was the 2019 one, composed by Caroline Sabas. You get the theme within a second. Watermelon leads with juicy blueberry and a streak of orange. Picture a beach and a plastic cup. The heart adds pineapple and then white flowers. Tiare dominates, bringing that sunscreen feel that suits the concept. Jasmine and a fairly tame tuberose stay in the background. The base is light. Ambroxan, musk and a little sandalwood leave a clean trace on skin for a few hours. Nothing here is complex, and the formula never pretends otherwise. Compared with Marc Jacobs' Daisy Eau So Fresh, another summer fruity, Miami Blossom feels more exotic and sweeter. Like the house's other seasonal editions, it was only sold for one summer.
When to wear it
A holiday scent for shorts and sandals. Spray freely, because it fades fairly fast.
It belongs to the Floral, Fruity family. Miami Blossom is one of 11 creations by Escada in our encyclopedia.
