Our take
What does Light Blue Sun pour Homme smell like?
Dolce & Gabbana released Light Blue Sun pour Homme in summer 2019 as a limited edition. It's a variation on Light Blue pour Homme, the 2007 aromatic citrus. The brand didn't officially credit a perfumer. The opening stays true to the family, with grapefruit, bergamot and an ozonic note that smells of open sea. Ginger stands in for the pepper of the original, which makes the start gentler. The heart is where things change. Coconut water brings that smell of skin after a day at the beach, backed by a fruity osmanthus. Rosemary and cedar remind you this is still a men's scent. Vanilla rounds off the base. Musk, vetiver and oakmoss keep it clean. Next to Light Blue Eau Intense pour Homme, Sun is less sharp and more relaxed. It smells like a holiday rather than a city.
When to wear it
Pure summer, for the beach, holidays and sunny weekends. Two sprays are enough because the coconut shows quickly.
It belongs to the Citrus, Aromatic family. Light Blue Sun pour Homme is one of 26 creations by Dolce & Gabbana in our encyclopedia.
