What does Live Irrésistible smell like?
Givenchy released Live Irrésistible in 2015 with Dominique Ropion behind the formula. The eau de parfum came first and aimed at young buyers who like fruity scents. It opens on juicy, fizzy pineapple with other fruity notes. That is the best moment, and it goes fast. The rose that follows is clean and smooth, nearly synthetic in its neatness. It sits on amber and ambergris that dry and brighten the skin. Musk then takes over. On some skins the finish drifts toward caramel and candy floss. A lighter eau de toilette followed with a longer note list. Next to Lancôme's La Vie est Belle, another sweet hit of the decade, Live Irrésistible feels lighter and fruitier. The bow-topped bottle did a lot of the selling, and it shows in how simple the formula is.
When to wear it
For spring days and casual outfits. Two sprays are enough and the pineapple does not come back.
