Our take
What does Repetto Eau Florale smell like?
Repetto, the house behind the ballet flat, released Eau Florale in 2015 under its licence with Interparfums. The glossy bright pink bottle sets the tone. This is a light eau de toilette meant for daytime. Grapefruit and plum blossom open it up, tart and juicy with a little fizz. The heart is built on rosebuds and bunches of violet. The rose stays green and young. Violet adds a powdery touch that brings a dancer's dressing room to mind. Cedar and ambergris make up a base with no weight to it. Nothing sticks out and everything stays clear. Set beside Chanel's Chance Eau Tendre, another fruity floral built on grapefruit, Eau Florale is rosier and less musky. Longevity is modest, so plan on a top-up in the afternoon. It is clearly aimed at a young audience, though nothing stops anyone older from enjoying it.
When to wear it
A spring and summer scent for the office or a day in town. Spray some on a scarf too, where it lasts longer than on skin.
It belongs to the Floral, Fruity family. Repetto Eau Florale is one of 5 creations by Repetto in our encyclopedia.
