What does La Petite Robe Noire Légère smell like?
In 2018 Guerlain added an Eau de Parfum Légère to the La Petite Robe Noire family, its bottle nicknamed 'Ma Rose Hippie-Chic'. The house calls it the most floral version of the collection. The starting point is still the black cherry from the original eau de parfum. Here it comes with fresh rose water, a hint of almond and a lemon zest that lighten the load. The heart gives the rose more room. It is not heady at all. Think of petals crushed between your fingers. The base keeps the line's black tea and tonka accord in a sheerer form. The original La Petite Robe Noire eau de parfum is darker and more gourmand, with patchouli and licorice. Légère takes the same silhouette into spring without losing the cheeky cherry.
When to wear it
For spring days, brunch or a daytime date. Use three sprays since it fades sooner than the original.
