What does La Petite Robe Noire Rose Rose Rose smell like?
Early in 2022 Guerlain added Rose Rose Rose to the La Petite Robe Noire family. The house called it a declaration of love to the queen of flowers, and the name leaves no doubt. Three roses are layered here. Bulgarian and Turkish rose come from the original. A centifolia rose from Grasse joins them. The opening is fruity with bergamot and black cherry, plus a touch of almond that nods to the line. The heart is a bouquet of fresh roses, juicy and slightly powdery. The base keeps black tea, the line's signature. Tonka bean, patchouli and a little vanilla go with it. Against La Petite Robe Noire eau de parfum, which is more gourmand and darker, Rose Rose Rose feels lighter and more floral. It is still sweet for a rose perfume. It also seems harder to find in stores these days.
When to wear it
A spring scent for daytime or a date. Two sprays are enough, as the cherry clings.
