What does Phantom Legion smell like?
Paco Rabanne released Phantom Legion in early 2022, a few months after Phantom. The scent is identical, and only the packaging changes. The chrome robot turns matte with a camouflage pattern and an NFC cap that unlocks exclusive content. Gamers are the obvious target. Four IFF perfumers share the credit: Anne Flipo, Dominique Ropion, Juliette Karagueuzoglou and Loc Dong. The opening pairs lemon zest with a very clean lavender. The heart brings green apple, a smoky note and earthy patchouli. Lavender runs through the whole thing from top to bottom. In the base, vanilla lightly sweetens the vetiver. 1 Million, from the same house, played on cinnamon and golden leather. Phantom is fresher and cleaner, with a creamy lavender that appeals to younger men. What Legion adds is the bottle.
When to wear it
An easy men’s scent for day and weekend wear in spring or autumn. Three sprays will do.
