What does Rose Prick smell like?
Launched in 2020 in Tom Ford’s Private Blend, Rose Prick explores the rose as a flower both beautiful and prickly. The opening is unusual: Sichuan pepper, bright and almost electric, alongside earthy, golden turmeric. In the heart, the rose unfurls, plump and radiant, like a bouquet of mixed varieties. Patchouli and tonka bean in the base add a soft, slightly earthy and ambery warmth. The structure is simple, almost minimalist, but the contrast between spice and petals gives it real personality. A modern, sensual and slightly thorny rose. The turmeric, in particular, lends the petals an unusual dusty gold.
When to wear it
Wear it in transitional seasons, in the evening or on a date. It suits lovers of spiced roses of any gender.
