Our take
What does Dylan Blue pour Femme smell like?
Versace launched Dylan Blue pour Femme in 2017, a year after the men's Dylan Blue. Calice Becker of Givaudan composed the eau de parfum. Bruce Weber shot the campaign with model Faretta. The opening is bright and green. Blackcurrant and green apple crunch together, a forget-me-not accord adds a bluish floral touch and an in-house molecule gives a herbal lift close to shiso leaf. The heart stays luminous. Rose and jasmine are handled in a very fresh, almost watery way, and peach rounds them off. The base adds some weight. Styrax brings a resinous, slightly leathery note while patchouli and musk make the whole thing more grown-up than the opening suggests. Compared with the men's Dylan Blue, the women's version mostly shares the blue bottle and the marine mood. It is fruitier and far less ambery.
When to wear it
A spring and summer scent that goes from office to dinner. Two sprays on the neck are enough, and it lasts well for a fresh floral.
It belongs to the Floral, Fruity family. Dylan Blue pour Femme is one of 14 creations by Versace in our encyclopedia.
