What does Crystal Noir smell like?
Composed by Antoine Lie and launched in 2004, Crystal Noir is the nocturnal side of Versace’s Crystal family. The opening is warm and spicy: pepper, ginger and cardamom make for a sharp, almost aromatic start. The heart is the scent’s signature: a creamy coconut far removed from the beach, paired with gardenia, orange blossom and peony in a voluptuous, milky white bouquet. The sandalwood, musk and amber base prolongs that unctuous warmth. The contrast between dry spice and milky floral softness gives the scent its mystery. It suggests perfumed skin by candlelight more than the freshness of classic florals.
When to wear it
For evenings in cold weather or a date; it suits lovers of creamy white flowers and soft orientals.
