What does Pour Homme smell like?
Launched in 2008, Versace Pour Homme reworks the aromatic fougère in a clean, sunny Mediterranean spirit. The opening is a bright citrus trio (lemon, bergamot and neroli) reminiscent of a lightly floral eau de cologne. In the heart, clary sage adds its herbal, slightly musky facet, geranium a rosy-minty tone, and cedar a dry backbone. The base is softer: amber and tonka, rounded by musk, form a clean, lightly sweet finish that stays close to the skin. Nothing here is spectacular, but everything is harmonious and well measured. It is the kind of scent you reach for without thinking in the morning: neat, well groomed and never bothersome to anyone.
