What does My Burberry Blush smell like?
Burberry spun off My Burberry in 2017 with this pink version, composed like the 2014 original by Francis Kurkdjian. It opens openly fruity. Glazed pomegranate and a clean lemon give a fizzy soda effect that almost stings. The heart brings crisp green apple and a slightly peppery geranium, which stops the rose from going sugary. The base stays light: jasmine and a wisteria accord, with no woods or vanilla weighing it down. On skin it smells clean and soapy. Plenty of people will like that fresh out of the shower feel, though some will find it too close to shampoo. It projects more than you would expect and lasts through a working day. Next to My Burberry, which is more powdery and polite, Blush feels younger and fizzier. It also shares the bright floral mood of Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, with more tartness and less softness.
When to wear it
A spring scent for the office or the weekend that handles heat well. Two sprays are enough since the lemon carries.
