Our take
What does Bvlgari pour Homme smell like?
Bvlgari pour Homme came out in 1995. It was the Roman house's first men's fragrance, composed by Jacques Cavallier. It picks up the tea that made Eau Parfumée au Thé Vert a success in 1993 and pushes it towards wood. The opening is clear. Bergamot and mandarin sparkle over a quiet lavender. Darjeeling tea then settles in, green and faintly smoky, surrounded by powdery iris and a lily of the valley that brightens it. The base is dry and clean. Vetiver, cedar and sandalwood surround a musk that smells like a shirt fresh from the cleaner's. Nothing sticks out. Compared with Eau Parfumée au Thé Vert, it is woodier and more masculine while keeping the same softness. Discretion is its whole point. It suits men who would rather not be smelled before they enter a room.
When to wear it
An ideal office scent from spring to autumn. Plan on three or four sprays because it stays close to the skin.
It belongs to the Woody, Aromatic family. Bvlgari pour Homme is one of 4 creations by Bvlgari in our encyclopedia.
