Released in 2007 among Kilian Hennessy’s first fragrances, Love, Don’t Be Shy was composed by Calice Becker as an unabashed ode to sweetness. The opening is bright: bergamot, pink pepper and neroli give a lightly spiced freshness. The heart is a rich, creamy bouquet led by orange blossom, with honeysuckle, iris, jasmine and rose adding nectar and powder. The base tips it into gourmand territory: caramel, sugar and vanilla, wrapped in musk, suggest a melting marshmallow.
