Our take
What does Poison Girl Eau de Toilette smell like?
Dior released the eau de toilette of Poison Girl in 2017, a year after the eau de parfum. In-house perfumer François Demachy signed both. This one is meant to be fresher and lighter. The opening is all citrus: bitter orange, frosted orange and lemon. It feels brisk, almost icy, and sets up a contrast with what follows. The heart brings together orange blossom and neroli, which keep the citrus mood going, plus a fairly crisp Damask rose. The base picks up the family's gourmand side. Vanilla, caramel and tonka mix with heliotrope, while cashmeran adds a downy woody softness. The detailed pyramid comes from a single retailer, but Dior itself describes a floral that moves from fresh to warm. Next to the eau de parfum it is less sugary and easier by day. Current availability is not confirmed.
