What does Twilly d'Hermès smell like?
Unveiled in 2017, Twilly d’Hermès was one of Christine Nagel’s first creations for the house, and its bottle, topped with a slim silk ribbon, sets the tone: young, mischievous, light. Ginger stings the nose at the opening, backed by pink pepper and bright bergamot. That spicy start is a counterpoint to the tuberose at the heart, handled lightly here, far from the heady versions of the genre. Jasmine and orange blossom join it in a luminous register. Sandalwood, vanilla and musk then round everything into a soft, slightly woody skin scent. This is a tuberose that runs rather than poses.
When to wear it
An everyday scent for spring and autumn, a lunch or a casual date. It suits younger women who like lively, slightly cheeky florals.
