Our take
What does Eau Ressourçante smell like?
Clarins launched Eau Ressourçante in 2003 as part of its line of scented treatment waters. It follows Eau Dynamisante, the older and better known one. Where its sibling wakes you up, this one is meant to calm you down. The brand doesn't name a perfumer. Basil and cardamom form the top, green and a little spicy, like a summer kitchen. Clary sage follows with an herbal and slightly musky feel. Iris softens it with powder. The base relies on benzoin, warm and faintly vanilla, along with dry cedar. Benzoin leaves a soft trace on the skin afterwards. Clarins calls it floral and woody. On skin it comes across mostly as a calm herbal water. Next to Eau Dynamisante it's less lemony and rounder. The concentration is low, as you'd expect from a treatment water.
When to wear it
Spray it freely after a shower or before bed. You'll need to reapply during the day since it fades in about two hours.
It belongs to the Floral, Woody family. Eau Ressourçante is one of 5 creations by Clarins in our encyclopedia.
