What does Coach Dreams Sunset smell like?
A year after Dreams, Coach extended the line with Dreams Sunset, an eau de parfum released in 2021 and framed as the collection's golden hour. The opening pairs pear sorbet with bergamot. It's cool and juicy, with the frosted feel found in many recent launches. The heart rests on jasmine sambac and magnolia, two white flowers handled lightly. Sambac adds a slightly fruity, almost tea-like note. The base is very sweet, with vanilla and tonka bean bringing the warmth of crème brûlée. The shift from pear to vanilla happens fast. After an hour the scent has gone fully gourmand. It's a simple floral gourmand that is easy to wear. Compared with Coach, the 2016 eau de parfum, Dreams Sunset is sweeter and less fresh. Like the rest of the Dreams line, it clearly targets a young audience.
When to wear it
For autumn and relaxed evenings. One or two sprays will do since the vanilla spreads quickly.
