Our take
What does Jaïpur Bracelet smell like?
Boucheron added Jaïpur Bracelet to its Jaïpur line in 2012. Carlos Benaim of IFF composed it. The name refers to Rajasthani wedding bracelets, and the bottle takes the shape of a piece of jewelry. The opening is herbal. Basil, verbena and petitgrain mix with violet leaf and lemon. It smells more like a morning garden than a fruit bowl. The basil is clear enough to recognise right away. The heart brings together lily of the valley, hyacinth and tagetes. Hyacinth adds damp freshness and tagetes a slight bitterness. The base pairs cashmeran, cypress and iris in a very clean woody musk. Compared with Dior's Diorissimo, the great lily of the valley, Jaïpur Bracelet is less radiant and greener. Its iris base also makes it drier. It is a scent for people who find most florals too sweet.
When to wear it
A green floral for spring that stays discreet at the office. Reapply after a few hours, as its trail is modest.
It belongs to the Floral, Woody, Musky family. Jaïpur Bracelet is one of 18 creations by Boucheron in our encyclopedia.
