What does Coach Love smell like?
In 2023 Coach launched Coach Love, an eau de parfum composed by Antoine Maisondieu. It shouldn't be confused with an earlier Coach Love from the 2010s, which smelled quite different. The opening plays wild strawberry against mandarin and pink pepper. The pepper keeps the strawberry from turning into candy, though the sugar is still there. The heart pairs red rose with Indian sambac jasmine. The rose leads, fresh and fairly fruity. Cedar and a grey amber accord form the base, clean and lightly salty. Everything stays clear and predictable. Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet comes to mind for the light rose, but Coach Love is fruitier and younger. It's aimed squarely at people just getting into perfume. Maisondieu also worked on Coach Dreams in 2020, which has more personality. Longevity is average for an eau de parfum.
When to wear it
A daytime fruity floral for spring, for lunch or the weekend. Two or three sprays will do.
