What does Bad Intense smell like?
Diesel extended Bad with Bad Intense, a men's eau de parfum released in 2017. The brand files it under spicy oriental fougères. The opening is dry: bergamot, cardamom and black pepper. The heart holds the formula's surprise. A caviar accord brings a salty, slightly marine note. Nutmeg, cinnamon and saffron surround it and warm everything up. The base is the best part. Tobacco, benzoin and labdanum form a resinous foundation, softened by vanilla and cashmeran. The result smells of sweet blond tobacco more than raw spice. The caviar accord stays a curiosity, present early on and then swallowed by the resins. Compared with Only the Brave, another Diesel men's scent, Bad Intense is darker and noticeably spicier. On skin it softens as the evening goes on and turns almost creamy. Few spicy fougères at this price feel this rich.
When to wear it
Wear it on winter evenings when you want to be noticed. Three sprays are plenty.
