Our take
What does Miss Dior Rose N'Roses smell like?
Dior launched Miss Dior Rose N'Roses in 2020. The eau de toilette was composed by François Demachy, the house perfumer at the time. The name tells you most of the story: two roses, one from Grasse and one Damask. It opens green and zesty. Bergamot and Italian mandarin add sparkle, then geranium brings a minty facet that hints at the rose to come. In the heart the two flowers play off each other. The Grasse rose smells of fresh, faintly honeyed petals. The Damask rose has more body and a touch of fruit. The base is just white musk. That is both the charm and the weakness here. After three hours your skin smells of clean laundry, with no woods or patchouli to hold the flowers in place. Compared with Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, the other light eau de toilette in the range, Rose N'Roses is greener and less sugary. Think of it as a broad-daylight rose, easy and bright.
When to wear it
Wear it on spring mornings, ideally on a white shirt or a cotton scarf. It fades fast on dry skin, so plan on a second round of sprays after lunch.
It belongs to the Floral family. Miss Dior Rose N'Roses is one of 56 creations by Dior in our encyclopedia.
