Our take
What does Aqua Allegoria Nettare di Sole smell like?
Guerlain added Nettare di Sole to its Aqua Allegoria collection in 2021. Thierry Wasser and Delphine Jelk signed it, as they have most recent Aqua Allegorias. The Italian name means sun nectar, and the idea is simple: white flowers warmed by the light. Orange blossom opens with Calabrian bergamot and aquatic notes. It starts fresh and almost salty. Magnolia carries the heart with jasmine sambac and a light rose. The brand also mentions solar notes, which give a sense of warm skin. The base is just honey. It stays faint and some noses will struggle to find it. Next to Pamplelune, another well-known Aqua Allegoria, Nettare di Sole is more floral and less tart. It lasts about as briefly as the rest of the collection. The striped bee bottle is the same as the rest of the line.
