What does Hugo Jeans smell like?
Coty launched Hugo Jeans in January 2023 as a new flanker of the 1995 Hugo. The bottle keeps the famous flask, lacquered in matte denim blue with the red and black logo from the brand’s jeans. The pitch is a single image: a scent you wear like jeans, anywhere and in any season. It is an aromatic fougère. Grapefruit and lime open it with a sharp zesty snap. Peppermint and juniper berries come next. The cold mint can smell a bit like toothpaste for the first minutes, and then juniper makes it more resinous. Sandalwood, vetiver and cedar form the base. It is dry and clean. Next to the original Hugo and its green apple, Jeans is more minty and less fruity. It clearly targets a young crowd and takes no risks.
When to wear it
An everyday scent for spring and summer. Three morning sprays last until lunch.
