What does Raghba smell like?
Raghba, from the Emirati house Lattafa, is a vanilla oriental built on sweetness and richness. The opening is dominated by a round, sugary, almost caramelised vanilla. The heart pairs a sugar accord with a woody oud that adds darker, slightly smoky relief. Incense, sandalwood and musk in the base extend the warmth with a resinous, velvety texture. It evokes an oriental confection smoked with incense, with generous longevity and projection. Simple in structure, but effective and very warm. The oud remains soft and sweetened, closer to a smoky wood than an animalic resin, and it clings to scarves and knitwear long after the skin has let it go.

For winter evenings and cosy moments; it suits lovers of rich oriental vanillas.
