What does Legend Intense smell like?
Montblanc gave Legend an Intense version in 2013, again with Olivier Pescheux on the formula. The eau de toilette keeps the original's fougère frame and turns the dial towards warmth. Bergamot and pineapple open, the pineapple riper and sweeter than in Legend. Cardamom arrives fast. It brings a spiced freshness that pepperwood dries out. Crisp red apple and a clear jasmine handle the floral part in the heart without ever taking over. The base is where things really change. A modern oakmoss built from a synthetic molecule blends with tonka, amber and cedar. The result is rounder and sweeter than the 2011 Legend, with a longer trail. It loses some of the soapy sharpness of the first one, and that is the trade. Evenings and cooler weather suit it better than the office in July.

A versatile men's scent for autumn and spring evenings. Three sprays on the neck and chest will carry you through a full night.
