Our take
What does Legend pour Femme smell like?
Montblanc launched Legend pour Femme at the end of 2012 as a partner to the men's Legend from the year before. Bernard Ellena and Nathalie Feisthauer composed the eau de parfum. It opens bright. Juicy pear leads, and neroli with bitter orange adds a green bitterness. The heart is a fairly classic white bouquet of orange blossom, Indian jasmine and lily of the valley. Together they smell of luxury soap and clean skin, with a freshness that lasts. The base stays soft and quiet. Musk, vanilla and woody notes form a powdery trail that settles close to the skin after two hours. Nothing jars and nothing surprises either. Compared with the men's Legend, a fougère built on pineapple and lavender, the women's version shares little beyond the name. It is clearly aimed at people who want an easy everyday floral.
When to wear it
An office scent for spring and summer that won't bother anyone. Three sprays on the neck and wrists are enough.
It belongs to the Floral, Woody, Musky family. Legend pour Femme is one of 19 creations by Montblanc in our encyclopedia.
