Our take
What does Cologne Come Together smell like?
Mugler Cologne was born in 2001, composed by Alberto Morillas. Thierry Mugler wanted to recapture the smell of a soap he had brought back from Morocco. In 2018 the house expanded its cologne line and renamed the original Come Together. The formula is still the 2001 one. It opens on lively bergamot and a green, slightly bitter petitgrain. Neroli and orange blossom take over without turning sweet. Everything then rests on a crisp white musk. Mugler adds a secret note called "S" and has never explained what it is. The result smells like skin straight out of the shower. It stays close to the body. Hermès Eau d'Orange Verte is more classical and zestier, while Come Together sticks to the soap idea all the way. It is a minimalist scent you can wear without thinking, man or woman.
When to wear it
A summer scent for mornings, the office or after the pool. Spray generously and top up at noon, it stays quiet.
It belongs to the Citrus, Aromatic family. Cologne Come Together is one of 23 creations by Mugler in our encyclopedia.
