What does Spicebomb Night Vision smell like?
In 2019 the Viktor & Rolf grenade turned green with Spicebomb Night Vision, an eau de toilette. Nathalie Lorson and Pierre Negrin composed it. The opening is the most original part. Tart Granny Smith apple mixes with green mandarin, grapefruit and cardamom. It is fresh and crunchy. The heart connects to Spicebomb through pepper, nutmeg and clove. Clary sage and geranium add an aromatic touch. The base stays soft. Tonka bean and roasted almond form a slightly bitter, biscuit-like accord that woody notes stretch out. The 2012 Spicebomb leans harder on tobacco and saffron. Night Vision is fresher and sweeter. Armani's Stronger With You is the closer reference for its sweetness, with apple added on top. A different eau de parfum followed in 2020, so check the label before buying.
When to wear it
An evening scent for autumn and spring, made for going out. Three sprays, and the trail stays reasonable.
