What does Just Rock! for Her smell like?
Zadig & Voltaire launched the Just Rock duo in July 2017. The women’s version is an eau de parfum by Sidonie Lancesseur and Michel Almairac. The brand speaks of electric, rebellious elegance, which is its usual language. It opens on a white patchouli stripped of its earthy side and tinged with incense. That dry smoke is the best idea in the formula. The heart aims for gourmand. Jasmine absolute lights it up and tuberose adds a creamy roundness that grows on warm skin. The base rests on a rather sugary vanilla. Next to This is Her, the house’s other feminine scent, Just Rock is darker and less milky. It loses some definition after two hours. Sugar ends up covering the incense, which is a shame. By the evening it smells like a pleasant vanilla and not much else.
When to wear it
For autumn and winter evenings. One spray on the nape and one on the wrist will do, as it lasts well.
