Our take
What does Girls Can Do Anything smell like?
The name sounds like a slogan. Girls Can Do Anything came out at Zadig & Voltaire in 2018. Quentin Bisch built it on a simple idea: take the fougère accord, long a men's territory, and make it feminine. Pear opens the scent, juicy and a little tart, with mandarin and bergamot. Orange blossom follows close behind. The heart warms up fast. Tonka bean takes a lot of space there while tuberose adds some floral roundness. The base owns its masculine wink. A fern accord meets vanilla, musk and a discreet patchouli. It smells like shaving foam softened with sugar, which surprises in a good way. Compared with Lancôme's La Vie est Belle, another sweet pear, it is less sugary and more aromatic. It remains a young and easy perfume.
When to wear it
A between-seasons scent for weekends or a night out with friends. Two sprays are enough, and the tonka lasts on clothes.
It belongs to the Floral, Fougère family. Girls Can Do Anything is one of 8 creations by Zadig & Voltaire in our encyclopedia.
