What does This Is Her! No Rules smell like?
In 2022 Zadig & Voltaire unveiled a new variation of This Is Her, named No Rules. The glass cube keeps the original's shape but turns transparent, with a military trellis pattern and a hint of pink. The opening is fruity. Bergamot leads, then a juicy pear softens the tone right away. The heart keeps the line's signature of chestnut and vanilla. Whipped cream joins them and makes the whole thing airier than the original, almost foamy. Think of a marron glacé served with Chantilly. The base pairs sandalwood with a soft, dry cashmere wood. It is a fairly light gourmand that smells less like dessert than warm skin. Compared with the first This Is Her, No Rules is fruitier and less woody. Next to La Vie est Belle, it feels more muted and less sugary. The house has not named the perfumer.
When to wear it
An autumn and winter gourmand for weekends or dinner. Two sprays on the nape and wrists.
