What does CK IN2U Her smell like?
Calvin Klein launched ckIN2U in 2007, a duo aimed at the texting generation. The name reads as “into you”, typed in a hurry. Four perfumers worked on the pair: Bruno Jovanovic, Jean-Marc Chaillan, Loc Dong and Carlos Benaïm. The women’s version opens on pink grapefruit and Sicilian bergamot. A red currant leaf adds a pleasing green tartness. The heart is stranger. Sugar orchid and white cactus give a watery, candied effect, like a melted sorbet. Amber, red cedar and an airy vanilla that the brand likens to a soufflé make up the base. It is soft and powdery. Next to the fresh, unisex CK One, IN2U Her leans into a very 2000s sweetness. It has aged, but its fizz still feels good in hot weather. On a humid afternoon the cactus note is what you notice most.
When to wear it
A daytime scent for spring and summer. It lasts around four hours, so keep a travel spray close.
