What does Cassili smell like?
Cassili joined Parfums de Marly’s feminine line in 2019 with a decidedly sunny outlook. The opening is fruity and tart: bright redcurrant carried by a fresh rose. In the heart, plum adds a darker, jammy note while frangipani (a tropical flower with a creamy, faintly apricot scent) and powdery, honeyed mimosa bring a sun-warmed sweetness. The base combines vanilla, tonka and sandalwood into a milky, gourmand finish that hugs the skin. It evokes luxurious sun cream, ripe fruit and a holiday flower. Cassili is less ambitious than some of the house’s other creations, but it has immediate charm and generous longevity.
When to wear it
For a date or casual outing, especially between seasons; it suits lovers of gourmand fruity florals.
