What does For Her Pure Musc smell like?
Narciso Rodriguez launched For Her Pure Musc in 2019, an eau de parfum composed by Sonia Constant. Musk has been the brand's DNA since For Her in 2003, and this version pushes it to the front. It smells of musk from the first second, with no citrus to clear the way. Think clean laundry and warm skin. White flowers appear in the heart: jasmine, orange blossom and ylang-ylang. They stay in the background, as if seen through a veil. The base rests on cashmeran, a soft synthetic wood that recalls suede and wool. The musk then comes back warmer. Compared with the pink-bottle For Her eau de parfum, Pure Musc is lighter and less powdery. It has none of the darkness of the original eau de toilette either. This is a skin scent. Some people will barely smell it, since anosmia to certain musks is common.
When to wear it
A year-round musk that works at the office without bothering anyone. Spray it on clothes as well as skin to get more out of it.
