Our take
What does For Her Fleur Musc smell like?
Narciso Rodriguez introduced For Her Fleur Musc in early 2017. It followed Amber Musc in 2013 and Rose Musc in 2016, in the series built around the For Her musk. No official source confirms the perfumer, so we leave the name out. The opening is peppery. Pink pepper and a fresh rose give a slightly prickly sparkle. The heart sets peony on the house's cloud of clean, cottony musk. The peony stays bright and never turns fruity. The base darkens things with patchouli, powdery violet and soft amber. That patchouli gives it an almost chypre outline. Compared with Rose Musc, Fleur Musc is more peppery at the start and woodier at the end. It keeps the clean skin smell that made the line popular, with a bit more texture. Simple, but very wearable.
When to wear it
At the office or for an evening out, from March to November. One spray on the neck is enough, since the musk spreads on its own.
It belongs to the Floral, Woody, Musky family. For Her Fleur Musc is one of 13 creations by Narciso Rodriguez in our encyclopedia.
