What does Kalan smell like?
Launched in 2019, Kalan is one of the brightest spicy orientals from Parfums de Marly. It opens on juicy, slightly bitter blood orange, instantly sharpened with pepper and spices that give it relief. Lavender, aromatic and cool, meets a softer orange blossom at the heart, striking an unexpected balance between herbal freshness and sunny floralcy. The base is warm: creamy sandalwood, sweet tonka bean, amber and moss form a woody, lightly sweet, earthy foundation. It keeps a certain brightness despite its depth, making it a more versatile oriental than most of its house siblings.
When to wear it
Day or evening, from autumn to spring, in casual settings. It suits people who like spiced citrus and warm but legible scents.
